Arab Fund Highlights Regional Collaboration at ACG’s 50th Anniversary
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development joined the Arab Coordination Group (ACG) in Washington D.C. to celebrate its Golden Jubilee—marking 50 years of driving sustainable development globally.
Held during the IMF/WB Annual Meetings, the celebration focused on strengthening collaboration and defining the ACG’s key priorities, which include climate resilience, digital transformation, and inclusive growth. Led by Director General H.E. Fawzi Yousef Alhunaif, the Arab Fund delegation affirmed its support for the ACG’s mission and participated in key discussions, including roundtables on Smart Financing for Education (SmartEd) and strengthening Gulf–Latin America/Caribbean (LAC) Partnerships.
