Fellowship for Academic Excellence
Ready to take your research globally?
Since 1997, the Arab Fund’s Fellowship Program has empowered the Arab world’s scholars in different fields of specialization who have excellent academic track record to conduct advanced research and/or academic activity at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.
By building bridges between Arab and foreign academic institutions, this program drives mutual growth and facilitate the transfer of global expertise, knowledge and technology into Arab region.
Since its inception, the program has awarded about 191 scholarships to Arab researchers from different nationalities and various areas of specialization.

How We Build the Arab Academic and Innovation Excellence?
This fellowship is a transformative bridge for outstanding Arab Ph.D. holders, providing the platform to lecture or conduct cutting-edge research at world-renowned universities. The grant is usually awarded for a period of twelve months (shorter periods may be considered only in very special cases).

How to Apply?
- Applications are submitted through the following website at zamalat.arabfund.org.
- Applications must be submitted at least one year prior to the expected starting date of the stay at the foreign university.
