The Arab Fund’s Knowledge Center aims at increasing the Fund’s efficiency and improving its performance, through the identification and selection of knowledge and important information needed by the Fund to enable it to support its core and supporting functions, as well as the diagnosis and analysis of the information available inside the Fund, whether it appears in periodicals, circulated documents, or the experience of its staff. Such information will then be categorized and deposited in the Center to create an easily retrievable institutional memory.
The Center also aims at further elevating the Fund’s knowledge by identifying external sources of information and making them available to the various staff members, according to their needs and responsibilities, along with promoting awareness of the importance of knowledge and information in accomplishing the Fund’s tasks and in achieving its goals.
