Arab Grid Code - May, 2020.
During the year 2018, the Arab Fund allocated a grant, in the amount of KD 500 thousand, to support the World Bank’s Pan–Arab Regional Energy Trade Initiative. Around KD 100 thousand, from the proceedings of the grant, was allocated to finance and perform a study to develop the Arab Grid Code, which contains documents used to regulate the planning and operation of the Arab interconnected grids.

The study was completed in May 2020, and its deliverables were presented to the Committee of Electric Power Experts emanating from the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, in preparation for presenting these documents to the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Electricity Ministers.
