Arab Fund Joins Global Lenders in Expanding Climate Finance and Supporting SMEs in Jordan

The Arab Fund provides a $25 million loan to the Capital Bank of Jordan, the 4th largest private bank in the kingdom, to support its capital and expand its lending operations to Small and Medium Enterprises and Climate friendly projects. H.E. Fawzi Yousef Alhunaif attended the signing and said that “This investment underscores Arab Fund’s ongoing commitment to diversifying financial offerings and supporting private sector development across member countries.”

The announcement was made during a signing ceremony attended by senior leaders from Capital Bank, and representatives from participating institutions. The financing is part of a larger financing package arranged by a consortium of global lenders including, ILX Fund, the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Green for Growth Fund, and the SANAD Fund for MSME
