MoU Signing between the Arab Fund and AIIB

The Arab Fund signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a leading development bank focused on financing infrastructure projects in Asia. This strategic partnership aims to establish a comprehensive framework for collaboration across sovereign and non-sovereign co-financing, joint project preparation, and strategic priorities including climate resilience, cross-border connectivity, digital infrastructure, and sustainable urban development.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Seville, Spain, and was officiated by Jin Liqun, President of AIIB, and Bader Alsaad, Chairman and Director General of the Arab Fund in the presence of senior representatives from both institutions.
