Abdul Latif Al Hamad Development Award 2024 Distribution Ceremony

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has won the Abdullatif Yousef Al Hamad Development Award for the Best Development Project in the Arab World in 2024 for financing the expansion and development of Bahrain International Airport. The award was presented by His Excellency Bader Al Saad, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Development, and His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman. The award was received by His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the ADFD, and Mr. Mohammed Yousef Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, the project’s executing director. The award ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdullatif Yousef Al Hamad, a pioneer in local and Arab development work and the former Director General of the Arab Fund.
