A Joint Workshop with the Green Climate Fund (GCF)

Building on our ongoing strategic collaboration with the Green Climate Fund, the Arab Fund recently hosted a one-day workshop to build staff capacity and introduce GCF’s institutional and funding mechanisms. The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of GCF’s operations, encompassing its governance, partnerships, accreditation framework, and funding portfolio.

 

 

Participants also explored suitable accreditation pathways for the Arab Fund and initiated discussions on forging a long-term, results-driven partnership to leverage regional synergies, and enhance Arab Fund’s role in mobilizing climate finance for sustainable development across the Arab region.
