Arab Fund Participates in High-Level Consultation Meeting to Scale Up Co-Financing and Investment in Africa

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire — January 13, 2026, A delegation from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, led by H.E. Fawzi Yousef Alhunaif, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors, participated in a high-level consultation meeting to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand co-financing and investments in Africa. The meeting, held at the African Development Bank (AfDB) headquarters in Abidjan, brought together heads of member institutions of the Arab Coordination Group and the African Development Bank Group.

H.E. Alhunaif said this cooperation reflects a clear collective will to forge integrated and effective partnership, capable of transforming commitments into tangible impact. He reaffirmed Arab Fund’s readiness to support member states in Africa in alignment with their national priorities and development goals.

The meeting underscores ACG members’ commitment to expand engagement in Africa through a coordinated and catalytic approach.
