Assembly of Brass Chandeliers for the Central Atrium
The image above illustrates the intricate brass work of the
enormous chandeliers in the Central Atrium.
Assembly begins below, as workers, surrounded by packing
crates, begin piecing together the framework of elaborate brass chandeliers (photos
below).
The chandeliers are pieced together tier by tier (photo
right below). When assembly is complete, workers build scaffolding in
preparation for hoisting the chandelier to the Atrium ceiling.
Workers on scaffolding prepare to lift the chandelier while other workers
on a suspended platform assist in the process (photos below).
