Moroccan zellige Mosaics Are Painstakingly Hand Crafted

Craftsman selects shaped zellige tiles from Morocco to create an elaborate mosaic which will be set in a marble wall (picture above).  Another worker places a large mosaic section for the base of the Water Wall (picture below).

Below the beginning of an elaborate mosaic design takes shape.   Hand crafted mosaic tile work in traditional geometric designs is featured in many rooms of the building.  Fine examples of this art can be seen in the Pre-function Hall and the Main Lobby.  Click on the text links to tour these rooms, or use the back arrow below to return to the main Artisan Crafts page.
