The Diwaniya or Reception Room
serves as a gathering room for visitors. A replica of an antique Mamluk carpet that
was removed from the museum during the war, this carpet measures over 100 square meters.
Here, as elsewhere in the building, modern day comfort combines effectively with
traditional design to create a welcoming space.
