Objectives:

The project aims at constructing a specialized medical center to provide specialized services in the area of liver diseases. The center would provide services for limited income people and research facilities in the area of liver diseases.

Description:

The project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2001, consists of the following components:

1. Construction: 

   1. Civil works: This includes the construction of a multistory building with a total area of about 42,000 m2.

   2. Mechanical and Electrical Works: This includes supply and installation of all mechanical, electrical and medical supplies and equipment required for the hospital. 

2. Furniture: This include supply and installation of furniture for various sections and facilities of the center.

3. Medical Equipment: This includes supply and installation of specialized and supporting medical equipment required for the center.

4. Technical Services: This includes specialized consultancy services required for the design of the center, selection of medical equipment, and supervision of project implementation. This component also includes the training of staff as required.
