Board Meeting 1/2010

The Board of Directors, at its meeting no. 1/2010, held on 3 March 2010, agreed to extend the following loans having a total value of KD 101 million:

During the same meeting, the Board of Directors extended the following grants having a total value of KD 2.9 million:

5	International Center for Biosaline Agriculture	250	Adaptation of marginal areas in the WANA region to the climate changes through application of sustainable crops and livestock
6	Arab Fund	1000	Increase the value of a grant to cover the costs of developing a master plan for connecting Arab countries by rail from 300 thousand KD to one million KD
7	Jordan	220	Cover the costs of purchasing a mobile unit for early detection of breast cancer in women for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation
8	Morocco	300	Increase the equipment in the Fez Library in order to properly execute the works and help preserve the historical and intellectual heritage
