A close-up look at the wood and glass screen of the Library shows
the intricate Arabesque star pattern which is repeated throughout the Arab
Organizations Headquarters Building. The screen, shown here from the
entrance lobby side, is comprised of 13,000 pieces of wood. The chamfered edges of
the glass create a prism effect, so that the light shimmers and creates rainbows with the
slightest movement. |
